Can the full Clappy Monster story of RAA be told in 60 minutes or less, and still feel like a satisfying dramatic arc? Want to help me find out?

For this FREE event (as in, "leave your wallet at home because it's the library and we can't accept money there"), in which I will be test-driving two shorter potential Fringe Fest formats of the solo show with full Clappy Monster story arc: a 45-minute version at 3:00 PM, and a 60-minute version at 4:00 PM, with optional talkback after each one.

Feel free to come for one of these, or both! For someone who hasn't seen the show and would like to, this is a great way to see it on the cheap. Feedback/talkback is completely optional, and can be given either spoken or written, on site or afterwards, in the form of statements or questions or gestures, whatever you have! I'll be doing audio recordings of the talkbacks to refer back to later on (only I will hear them).

The full-length version with more songs will be back, pinky swear! In the meantime, though, this show wants to travel, and having a "pocket version" of it will help get it where it wants to go. Would love your help reducing the sauce!

Band show time, with short opening sets from my bandmates, followed by the condensed one-act version of RAA. Tickets will be "pay what you can and want to." More details to come, but this is a very cool event space operated by the very inclusive Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church and my first full-length public show on the east side of Portland in two and a half years! I can't wait!
